Still: Pleasing to have five different scorers Print E-mail
Keith served up another five-goal haul in their latest pre-season friendly as they eased past East End at New Advocates Park. There were five different scorers among the goals on the night for the Maroons.

Jamie Lennox opened the scoring with Derek Nicol doubling the advantage before Dean Donaldson added goal number three from the penalty spot before the interval. New signing Jonathan Smith grabbed his first goal for the club with a second half spot kick with Cammy Keith rounding off the round by converting the third penalty of the night.

Manager Darren Still spoke to http://www.highlandleague.net/ about the match as he reflected on his side's third win of pre-season in a row as they now prepare for their final warm up match in Edinburgh on Saturday.

Darren Still (Keith)
It was the same as Tuesday in that I am happy with the goals that we are scoring. We didn't play as well as we did on Tuesday night but there were an awful lot of changes, especially in the second half. As I said before the game, we played the guys from our under-21s squad and they all played a good part of the game. I was pleased that we had five different scorers as well so it was a worthwhile exercise.

There were actually four penalties in the game because East End missed one as well and it is not often you see that in a friendly. All of the boys were keen to step up and they all seem to want to be on the penalties come the start of the season. It then developed into something of a feisty game later on and we had to tread carefully. I'll choose my words carefully on that one and leave it at that.
