Fort William came into this game feeling a sense of injustice about having returned to the bottom of the table, losing out against both Huntly and Rothes, in games they felt they deserved a point if not more from.

And they looked like a side with something to prove right from the kick off with Sam Urquhart firing the first shot in anger over Andy Shearer's crossbar.  The Maroons are equally as unhappy about their league position but there was some good news for their fans with Neil Robertson pulling on the boots again to start at the heart of the midfield.

The visitors first opening of the game came in the fourth minute, Cammy Keith racing in on goals but he lost out in the one-on-one with John Campbell as the former Hibee stopper made the save with his feet.  He was then to repeat the feat to deny Jamie Lennox who was also in on goals minutes later.

Fort had a couple of half chances, Sean Ellis firing wide from 25 yards and Urquhart shooting weakly at Shearer after robbing Garry Macnamee of possession, however they were to find themselves a goal down in the 19th minute.

A cross from the right wing by Darren McAllister wasn't dealt with by the home defence and Dean Donaldson was on hand to poke the ball past John Campbell from 8 yards out to cement his claim to be the month's top scorer.

Fort William seemed to have been handed a lifeline in the 26th minute when referee Doug Ross blew and pointed to the penalty spot indicating a handball.  However
