More Highlights...
Still: Played poorly but went through / Anderson: Spirit was outstanding Print E-mail
Keith won a penalty shootout to see off Deveronvale in the quarter finals of the Evening Express Aberdeenshire Cup. Chris Mountford had twice equaliser after Keith efforts from Cammy Keith and Dean Donaldson had the Maroons in front on two occasions.

However, after Bryan Dlugonski missed from the spot for the visitors, Derek Nicol stepped up to win it for Keith. Brian Barclay spoke to both managers after the shootout had been decided.

Snippets: It wasn't a good performance from us and the only thing I can take out of it is that we played poorly but still won the game. I don't think in recent times that would have happened so there was a bit about us.

I was disappointed with a few aspects of our play. I was disappointed with the ball retention of the team - it wasn't good enough. We weren't tight enough to players overall and despite a few words to the players at half time, we improved slightly in the second half but not enough.
